Development of Metaverse-based LNG Training Simulator
newgen InS Co., Ltd., which specializes in developing shipbuilding and marine education systems using VR/VR/AR/XR and metaverse, recently announced that it was selected for the “2024 Busan Metaverse Project Discovery and Production Support Project” by the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA), and is currently developing an advanced LNG training simulator using metaverse.

newgen I&S (CEO Park Sang-gyu) received the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Award. The company is leading the implementation of digital twin technology and the development of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and extended reality (XR) content.
newgen I&S is working on the local production of eco-friendly fuel training simulators with the Korea Institute of Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering and K Shipbuilding through the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries' domestic demand revitalization project in 2022. This technology is scheduled to be developed by the end of this year.
